With experience in both clinical and non-clinical research at Vancouver General Hospital and the University of British Columbia, Shawn brings his passion for medicine and innovation to Noro. Through his direct work with patients in both patient-facing and clinical research settings, he has developed a deep understanding of the human side of healthcare, learning firsthand the importance of empathy, communication, and patient-centered care. His background in technology and his dedication to improving patient outcomes have exposed him to critical challenges in medical education, particularly the issue of accessibility in clinical training. Noro, with its AI-driven approach, represents his solution to bridging these gaps by creating opportunities for students and professionals to practice skills that ultimately improve patient care. Beyond Noro, Shawn continues his commitment to advancing the field of medicine through research, partnering with healthcare professionals and scientists on studies exploring how artificial intelligence is perceived and how it can be responsibly integrated into medical education worldwide.

As a Computer Science student at Simon Fraser University with a deep passion for artificial intelligence and experience in AI motion detection research, Arash brings his technical expertise and innovative vision to Noro. His dedication to removing learning barriers for everyone drives his vision of integrating AI with critical fields to facilitate their transformation into next-generation technologies. Through his work at Noro, he applies his technical expertise across diverse domains, believing that AI-powered solutions can democratize access to quality education and accelerate innovation in traditionally challenging fields.
